This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”).  YOUR RIGHTS


When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Payment information, including the above and credit card information, is not stored on our site. Third party or PayPal handles all payment transactions.

Third party, SendinBlue, manages our newsletter subscriptions, and offers the ability to unsubscribe.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.


We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through our Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with our Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through our Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, to the United States.

1) Right to information

The user/consumer has the right to ask us for information about what personal information is being processed and the reason it is necessary for processing.

2) Right to access

The user/consumer has the right to get access to and/or request copies of his or her personal data that is being processed.

3) Right to rectification

The user/consumer has the right to ask for modifications to his or her personal data in case the data subject believes that this personal data is not up to date or accurate.

4) Right to withdraw consent

The user/consumer has the right to withdraw a previously given consent for processing of their personal data for a purpose. Upon withdrawal, Veritas Publishi9ng will stop the processing of the personal data that was based on the consent provided earlier.

5) Right to object

The user/consumer has the right to object to the processing of their personal data. This right applies when user/customer asks that his or her personal data should not be processed for certain purposes for a specific scenario, such as while a legal dispute is ongoing in court.

6) Right to object to automated processing

The user/consumer has the right to object to a decision based on automated processing. Using this right, a customer may ask for his or her request to be reviewed manually, because he or she believes that automated processing may not consider the unique situation of the customer.

7) Right to be forgotten

The user/consumer has the right to request for the deletion of their data. Please note that this is not an absolute right and depends on your retention schedule and retention period in line with other applicable laws. When data retention is necessary, the user/consumer personal data will be sanitized for the purpose of privacy protection. This process of either encrypting or removing personally identifiable information so that the people whom the data describe remain anonymous.

8) Right for data portability

The user/consumer has the right to request for transfer of his or her personal data. As part of such request, the data subject may ask for his or her personal data to be provided back to him or her or transferred to another controller. When doing so, the personal data must be provided or transferred in a machine-readable electronic format.


When you place an order through our Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.  Upon your request, personal information will be deleted and order history information will be anonymized so that there is not further connection to your personal information.


In order to make purchases with our Site you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.


We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
