It is necessary to develop respect for spiritual endeavor. Straight and narrow is the path; waste no time or effort. Precision is discipline that is innate to serious commitment. Some students may yet be in a period of exploration, but once one gets the “fire in the belly,” the urge to reach God becomes a relentless drive – or even, in the eyes of the world, a “madness.” From that point on, there is no patience for amusement or diversion. It depends on decision, will, the level of consciousness, and karmic propensities. As it gets more intense, the love for and of God allows no delay. Dissolving the Ego, Realizing the Self ch. 7, pg. 120.

“Straight and narrow is the path; waste no time or effort.”
I adore this teaching–it has helped me through many bumps on the road. At times I have borrowed it as a mantra. It always realigns me and reaffirms my intention to the path.
Thanks Susan for who/what you are and continue to do/be! Keeping the Spirit and work alive, and the weekly selections generally resonate, are inspiring and impactful! God Bless, Chad!

Dr. Hawkins is the single most influential person in my life. Your efforts to keep his work available are deeply appreciated. May you find the cause of happiness.
Yes, he has been mine also! Thank you for your kind words.
So glad you are receiving benefit from them, Chad!
Good idea, Kelly!
