It is simple to observe that although there is a ātalking mindā going on at the same time, there also a silent awareness that is more global and unfocused and operates automatically.Ā Contemplation or meditation that focuses attention on context rather than content facilitates moving oneās identity from the transient and volitional (thereby becoming personal) to the unchanging quality of awareness itself. This leads to the discovery that one is the field and not the specifics of the content.Ā This jump is a level of the Buddhist state of satori.
