The Infinite is One’s Source and Reality

The infinite glory, greatness, and power of God has been severely and grossly underestimated and not comprehended by man. With the replacement of the self by the Self, the power of omnipotence is known by virtue of the fact that the Infinite is one’s source and reality.

Realization of the Reality of Divinity

All the great spiritual teachers throughout history were mystics, and the source of their awareness of spiritual truth was the result of Enlightenment and the transformational Realization of the Reality of Divinity as the subjective knowingness that ensues from advanced consciousness by virtue of being at One with the Known.  Thus, the Avatar does not speak from knowing “about” but from the actual Presence within, which radiates forth and constitutes the Essence of that which replaces the mind as the source of understanding and Knowingness (the classic Purusha).  The process whereby this transformation occurs has been described in the history of each saint, sage, and divine teacher and is often included in the scripture itself.

…The source of the highest spiritual truth is non-mental, and the intellect has difficulty comprehending this critical fact because the mind is intrinsically dualistic and limited, expecting a “this” to come from a “that.” In the advanced spiritual Reality, duality dissolves because the “this” is the “that.” The seeker and the Sought become One with the transcendence of the limitation of duality, i.e., Realization of the Self, Illumination, and Enlightenment, i.e., “The Kingdom of God is within you.”

The Non Action of Action

… awareness allows for the development of the ‘non action of action’, which is possible by relinquishment of trying to control results. The only thing one can actually ‘do’ is to ‘be’ one’s potential to the fullest. … The ‘non-action’ of action does not move from imperfection to perfection, or from incomplete to complete, but instead from complete to complete and from perfection to perfection.

Processing out Negative Feelings

A spiritually-oriented person values all of life’s experiences and sees each one as an opportunity to evolve spiritually. The technique of processing out involves very simple steps that all depend on willingness and the capacity to surrender.

Stay with the feeling and stay focused on it unswervingly. Realize that all pain is due to resistance. The suffering of loss stems from the attachment and specialness.

Be willing to become immersed in and surrender to the feelings without avoiding them. Notice that they come in waves and that surrendering to the most intense waves tends to decrease their emotional severity.

Ask God’s help and surrender the personal will to God.

… Be willing to endure and suffer out the process. If not resisted, it will process itself out and come to an end.

… A helpful source of strength during the processing out of painful emotions is to identify with all of humanity and realize that suffering is universal and innate to the phenomenon of being human and the evolution of the ego.

A Precious Gift

When one has chosen the spiritual pathway, the question arises of how to proceed through ordinary human life now that one has a different overall motivation. … the degree to which one values one’s own life determines the answer. Those who see it as a precious gift do not wish to waste it on that which is trivial and transitory, for the demise of the physical body is an inevitable certainty. The pleasures of life can be accepted as a gift while rejecting becoming attached to them.

… the inner process is primarily one of de-energizing illusions rather than one of acquiring new information. Awareness is predominantly revealing in nature rather than a private acquisition. The Self is already aware of Reality and does not need to learn more about it.
