We are Surrounded by Love and Lovingness

By being loving toward others, we discover that we are surrounded by love and lovingness.  When we unreservedly support life without gain, life supports us in return.  Whenever we abandon gain as a motive, life responds with unexpected generosity.  And when we perceive in this way, the miraculous begins to appear in the life of every dedicated spiritual aspirant.

That Which is the Ultimate…

and eternal transcends both objectivity and subjectivity and is beyond awareness.  It is referred to in the ancient spiritual literature as “the Supreme Spirit.” Out of the Supreme arises all that is manifest and unmanifest; all consciousness and awareness; all existence; All That Is; either form or non-form; all that is linear and all that is nonlinear; all that arises out of creation; all possibility and actuality.  The Supreme is beyond existence or nonexistence; beyond beingness or is-ness; beyond all Gods, heavens, or spiritual forms; beyond all names or definitions; beyond all divinities and spiritual denotations. It is out of the Godhead that Divinity arises, and out of the Supreme arises the Godhead.

How Does Letting Go and Surrendering Correlate with the Different Meditative Techniques

Almost all meditative techniques have as their goal the quieting of the mind.  This is the basis of the dictum from the Book of Psalms, “Be still and know that I am God.”  As most meditators have discovered, achieving silence of the mind is the main problem of meditation itself.  This is because suppressed feelings constantly produce thoughts, which are the main distractions in meditation.  Acknowledging and letting go of the energy behind these suppressed feelings, therefore, facilitates the goal of meditation.  When the feeling behind the train of thoughts is located and surrendered, then that entire train of thought instantly stops.

By constantly surrendering, it is possible to arrive at an extremely silent state of mind.  This can be accomplished as one goes about one’s daily activities, thus greatly expanding the capacity to meditate.  Most meditative techniques are limited to a specified number of minutes or hours during the day.  It is possible by constant surrender to reach high states of consciousness.

Everything is in a Stage of Enfoldment

In the Nonduality of awareness, even sequence no longer occurs, and awareness, replaces experiencing.  There is no longer the experience of “moments,” as there is only a continuous Now.  Movement appears as slow motion, as though suspended outside of time.  Nothing is imperfect.  Nothing actually moves or changes; no events actually take place.  Instead of sequence, there is the observation that everything is in a stage of unfoldment, and that all form is only a transitional epiphenomenon created by perception and the observational habits of mental activity.

In Reality all comes into being as an expression of the infinite potentiality of the universe. Evolving states are the consequences of conditions but are not caused by them.  Conditions account for appearances, and the phenomenon as change is really the result of an arbitrary point of observation.

When We Let Go of Pride…

When we let go of pride, help comes into our life to address the problems with which we are struggling.  We can experiment and prove the truth of that principle by picking one area in which we are having difficulty and thoroughly surrendering all the pride involved.  When we do that, some surprising things begin to happen.  Letting go of pride unlocks the door to receiving that which is the most beneficial to us.  Are you willing to let go of pride and feeling superior to others? Know that where pride is absent, attack from others is also absent.  And when you are willing to let go of the pseudosecurity of pride, you experience the real security that comes with courage, self-acceptance, and joy.
